 A Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve Society free community event!

Drop in between 10 am and 4 pm on both Friday and Saturday.

Activities include wildlife art workshop, guided nature walks (happening at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm), craft table, touch table, children’s corner, heron colony walks and Tower Trail exploration.

Special guests:

On Friday Andrea Gielens, an expert in the field of amphibians and chelonians (turtles) and Field Biologist for the coastal painted turtle project, will be giving a talk on the endangered western painted turtle.

On Saturday Natalie Worrall, Outdoor Educator from the Hope Mountain Centre for Outdoor Learning, will be presenting an interactive nature program for the whole family.
